Elizabeth Lindsay grew up in Greenwich Village, New York, a haven for artists from different cultural backgrounds. This artistic community exposed her to the arts at a very early age. Elizabeth began her creative career in interior and architectural design while working as an interior designer for many years.

ME excuse me this is between me and goodSMALLIn 1989, she decided to pursue her life’s dream of designing jewelry, and enrolled in the jewelry design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in Manhattan. Graduating with top honors, Elizabeth received the coveted Studio Design Award of the Year.

Upon graduation, Elizabeth opened her own studio. Her love of art and history combined with her architectural background inspired her to create a series of work referred to as “Architectural Ornamental” jewelry. Each piece combines the strict discipline of architecture with an unconventional blend of designs, inspired by ancient and modern cultures. Elizabeth’s work is timeless. Elizabeth sold her work nationally for over ten years to such established stores as Nieman Marcus and The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She was also honored with a Buyer’s Choice Award in 1994 for Modern Jeweler’s Magazine design competition.

An avid supporter of finding the cure for breast cancer, she designed the “Mary Cleves” Pin and Pendant for The Breast Cancer Fund in San Francisco, in honor of her mother when she was diagnosed with the disease, and donated 100% of the profits to The Breast Cancer Fund. She was also approached by, and chosen by, The Susan G. Koman for the cure, to design the Ten Year Commemorative Pin for the city of Denver.

In 1999 she relocated to Denver, Colorado, and opened her own retail store, “Elizabeth Lindsay Creations”, in the upscale shopping district of Cherry Creek North. She has designed several one-of-a-kind engagement rings as well as other rare pieces and continues to evolve as a designer, coming up with new designs often. Elizabeth loves having the one on one personal attention with her customers and is thrilled that she now gets to work with them directly. Her store not only carries her jewelry designs, it also carries merchandise from many creative, talented artists and designers. Her shop has become known for its rare and unique gifts and 5280 magazine has chosen Elizabeth Lindsay Creations as one of the best gift shops in the Denver metropolitan area.

After losing the last of her family and recently embarking on a life-sRace for the Cure Pin - Elizabeth Lindsay - Token Tagsaving surgery, she experienced the first of many miracles that motivated her to stop putting her life on hold and waiting to be perfect. Instead, she followed her heart. Elizabeth keeps the “real in the deal” while writing a book and launching Edgeisms –- daily inspirational sayings that cut out the crap. She is well-known for her personalized jewelry line Token Tags™, adored by celebrities to extraordinary human beings around the globe. Token Tags™ was created in honor of her Mother and Aunts who all battled breast cancer. Elizabeth was honored by RACE FOR THE CURE to make the Commemorative 10 year pin for Colorado. Through it all, she’s learning to keeping her wings up, her shine on, and her heart open, while encouraging others to do the same — one Angel with an Edge at a time! Because we are all on the edge of something…
